‘Lynstead’ is ideally situated close to the town centre where there is a splendid selection of shops, restaurants, pubs and cafes, together with the beautiful Connaught Gardens and other secluded parks, all contributing to the town’s success in the ‘Britain in Bloom’ competition.
For the more adventurous, this is an ideal base for walking the spectacular coastal paths along the red sandstone cliffs to Beer, Seaton and Lyme Regis, or Budleigh Salterton and Emxouth, or for exploring the numerous delights of Devon.
Backing on to the River Sid and National Trust parkland (The Byes), peaceful walks, and optional duck-feeding, can be enjoyed in this tranquil environment.
Alternatively, sportier guests at ‘Lynstead’ can take advantage of the concessionary green fees at Sidmouth’s 18-hole Golf Course, or swim in the town’s excellent indoor heated swimming pool nearby.
